yeahh i just got my deposit confirmation. i want it to work asap ahaha it works for outside emails too? (not that i'm going to be signing up for things or anything like that on it lol)

All admissions thus far are early admits. Regular decisons are sent before April 1st. Doubtful your daughter will hear anything before March 20 or so.

the supplement is a fun way to display a different side of you. when i applied as a freshman i baked a tribe pride pound cake. when i applied as a transfer i wrote an essay looking back on my interview with the william and mary staff that took place the summer before my senior year of high school. as long as you are showing a different side of yourself than just a typical essay, i feel you can't go wrong!

I know the application has to be submitted by Jan 1 for RD. What about transcripts and teacher recommendations? Is it okay if that comes a few days later? My guidance counselor was saying how its not guaranteed that they'll be able to send it out before winter break.

As long as you submitted the forms to your counselor in time, they should mail it out by the deadline. I think you're fine. My teachers have told me that the deadline is usually for students. It's okay if their recommendations come in one month later. I would call the school to be sure though.
