I submitted my application fairly late. I sent most of the material in November, but I didn't complete the entire application until early December.

I am ranked 29 out of 464, so I'm at the 6.25% mark. I hope you're right!

We are in the same situation. My daughter received a provisional acceptance on June 1 also. She submitted her application in early September and has not received an official acceptance. She is in the top 1% of her class. (We are in state.) I called admissions in October and was told that if the applicant is in line for a merit scholarship they would get their acceptance late October or early November. We are still waiting and wondering too.

That sounds like a pretty typical southern frat to me. Once you're finished pledging, you can dress basically how you want (but there are a few no-no's, of course). You can party as much or as little as you want - fraternities obviously allow you to study because they like to maintain a high average GPA.
