About the 4-year-old in Texas who was suspended from preschool because he has long hair?

Ridiculous. However - if a school has a policy then it's up to the parents to follow it.

The news story says that he's growing it for a "Locks of Love"-type organization, and plans to donate it for a wig. He made a deal with his dad that they would both grow their hair.

ICAM about the yawn comment. She's a cute kid with songs written by a teen for mostly teens and young kids. LOL and love the underwear comment.

Anyone watching it? Any opinions/favorites? It's a good nicotine patch for my Glee withdrawal pains.

I just listened to her song 15 and its adorable. Many young girls could relate to it. I can see her getting the awards considering shes selling out tons. No offense but compared to the record sales and the current thing I see Taylor as a bigger star ATM than Reba. No offense of course to anyone. Thats my opinion

Alice in Wonderland

I'm neither a fan of Alice in Wonderland nor Tim Burton, but we'll likely see this. My son really wants to, and visually, it looks amazing.

I'm so sorry, will keep him in my prayers. I have anxiety and it all revolves around fear of a heart attack. I can completely relate to why he thought it was that.

Is it a fact that Lewis Carroll wrote this story under the influence of LSD?
Because I would totally believe that.
Even the Disney version of it seems disjointed and odd.
I will probably catch this movie when it's available for rental,
but won't spend movie theater money on it.
Tim Burton movies give me the eebie-geebies.

I think she used more facial expressions in those 50 seconds than she did in the entire Twilight movie.

If I recall, the school has a dress code and hair on the collar is against
the dress code (correct me if I'm wrong, please). Seems crazy to suspend a
4 year old, and yet if he (and his parents) weren't willing to follow the
rules... well, there ya go. Does cutting his hair go against their
religion? Do they have any reasons for why they won't cut it to comply with
the rules?

See, now even the woman in the article,
who is so up in arms about her "right to line dry",
says she dries her undies inside.
Marce, I would leave an industrial size bottle of bleach on Bradley's front porch.
And a couple of boxes of Scott Flushable Wipes.
Blech.

John Mayer thinks he's Edward Cullen. Never in a bazillion years. I can't believe he's trying to cash in on the trend with this new look.

MTV makes a big splash of Madonna and Britney kissing on an awards show.
But Adam Lambert kisses a guy, and it gets censored.

If she's in it, what part does she play?
I love that show, the music is great.

Okay, any Taylor fans out there? Enlighten me please. How did she earn CMA Entertainer of the Year? God bless her, but every time I've heard her sing live on TV, it's been off key. She's young, writes her own music and seems to be a very sweet girl, but she was up against some pretty big names and beat them. I don't quite get it, so enlighten me. Thanks.
And before the flames start, I ...

That is so neat, mtj. I would like to find the whole "Little House" series someday. I know they sell them, or at least they used to. I love those books. In 4th grade, our teacher read the whole series to us. It was the highlight of our day and we all looked forward to the next chapter of Laura's life.
