welcome to the forums
first of all to my point of view a X48chipset is not outdated xD (I´m using one myelf, grrrr )
First thought was, 4,4 Ghz on your....wuha that´s qute alot, but your settings look quite resonable. i never went for OC an E core myself, so don´t
rely on me. I think your RAM should have the capability to clock that far. I´m not thast sure for your FSB ...did you try ...

First of all, welcome here.
We will be able to help you as soon as you post a BIOS template filled up with your current settings, also how successful has your overclocking been so far?

Hello and welcome to the forums, please put your full system specs in User CP>Extra Options, and fill up a BIOS template with your current settings.
That way we will be able to help you.
One piece of advice I'll give right away: don't get obsessed with running your memory at a
specific speed, just OC the CPU and after that see what memory multiplier is the best for you.

I would 1st drop your RAM freq down to the lowest strap maybe 333/667 for now - this is only until you reach your maximum stable CPU clock, you can increase it again later.
Since you are using 8GB i would also see if more NBv would help, it is prolly under a lot of strain and will most likely need a boost.
Finally i would take the CPU off AUTO vcore and start looking at 1.35-1.4v for
3.6-3....

Jaw dropping for a value kit, although Intel says that over 1.65 on a i7 is a big
nono... are you running those speeds 24/7?
