The MM6 are a nice set of speakers. I tuned a pair for someone of a local forum and they shaped up real well. In the upper mids they were actually warmer than the momo's I ran at that point. My only issue is with the number of speakers you want to run. Two pairs of MM's, three subs and a pair of 3.5's. Fronts plus the 12" is what pretty much everyone here runs. Less is more. Also what hu are you planning to run this off?...

See...I think I've developed a new catagory or car audio but dont have a name for it. I like real loud sound quality for speakers but when it comes to the sub have it set up for SPL and low dB. SQ + SPL= ?SQL? If so...then thats the competition I wanna set my stereo up for lol. So what's wrong with the Polk DB's? I heard them hooked to less power and they sounded great for the price. I liked them cuz $300 for 2 Polk subs IN a...

I ran a set of MM6 for a couple years and loved them! I think dollar for dollar theyre one of the best speakers ever. Theyre retired now and I have one of the MM6 mids autographed by Matt Polk so itll never see the inside of a car again. The best way to run those speakers is to bi-amp them. The crossover isnt biampable so you have to run the mids full range but it works very well.

2009 F150 head unit install
Published (2009-12-18 11:49:00)
Has anyone done a head unit replacement on the new F150's? Ive seen the double din installation kits online but I'm not sure how good it'll look compared to the stock unit. I want to get a double din screen to put in there, probably a Premier F90BT. - Dominic

Chances are you blew your pro60's because your gains were set too high. That was the virus. Poor tuning and eq would not kill a speaker. Too much power would. The pro's were rated for 125watts at 3ohm. At 3ohm your amp would put out enough to kill the speakers over a period of time, if thw gains were set too high. Set your volume to about 80% and your gain to min. ow raise the gain to the ...

The Honda S2000 uses 6.5" mids in the doors so the 5.25's would fit but they would need an adapter. They sell these at pretty much any car audio shop or you can make your own out of some MDF. The thing Im not sure about would be the cutout in the door. My 2007 Accord had a cutout about the size of a thimble for their 6.5" speaker. I had to cut some sheet metal out and use a 2" spacer to ...
