In this economy and this late in the year, I bet you could scoop up one of these pristine CPO's in 2003/2004 models like I did and get them down for $25k. There are several. IMHO this might be the best car to get...rare too...2004 Pine/Saddle 42k miles $27k (could probably get a package deal to ship to AZ for $25k) CPO...very nice!!! http://www.lcpo.com/cpo_poresults.ps...hSortOrder=asc

i'd save up until you can afford wheels and suspension together. not much point doing them individually, they'll look a little goofy with just one or the other. i'd wait and do a kit after that. wheels and suspension make the biggest improvement.

So I called on the PA 04 Pine car. They want $27,100 for it. I was hoping they would come down some more..anyone near Phili that would take a look at the car for me? Its about 50 min away from there. I just am leary now of buying another car, but I like my color combo. The vin checks out ok, and the service history is good. They said they will notcome down on the car until its been there close to 60 days.. The dealer here just wants to buy my...

Welcome to CL !! I'd go for a 2003, both model years are basically the same. Look at Ebay, you should be able to get an 03 for 18k - 19k with clean Carfax and good service history. Look for Lexus service, not an independent shop. Be patient, great deals are out there, don't...

God you're so lucky my friend, I see one PB about every three months! When I go to FL in the winter, they're at Sarasota and Naples on the west coast. If I'm in DC I'll see one or two, none in my area of VA . Have not seen one 09 except in the brochure.

$595? -- Holy crap -- apparently I should be really, really nice to the buddy who did mine. But I feel your pain. I've completely rebuilt the engine for my old MG solo, but there is something about seeing the "guts" of my SC which gives me the willies.

I have an '02 and mine was replaced about 1 1/2 years ago. I don't know whether it was the front or back or both as it was done under warranty.

Some other identifying characteristics are the dark badges which you can buy I believe, the wheels and the RED engine cover (only had this on the 2002 NM Edition and the 2005) and the red cargo cover pull.
The car came with two sets of mats. I believe one black set with red Pebble Beach Edition badging and another red with black. My car for some reason has two sets of red! I would love...

Go for an extended warranty. Wow, you certainly haven't driven your SC very much. ML speakers are expensive along with any roof repairs, nav is 3500!! Good Luck

Wonder why it's at such a small dealer? That's a concern and a red flag, IMO.
Looks like it had some body work on the left rear quarter about 4 years ago.

After doing my homework I chose the red top 34R. The original Lexus box or cover for the standard battery wont fit so I just left it off. The battery holders work fine with the Optima. The amp-hour capacity and cold cranking capacity of the 34R is a good match. The factory bends of the battery post clamps have to be jiggered a little but they eventually work. If you go with a yellow top you will...

Not sure what kind of car you have or year, but I can tell you this is a common question and there has been a lot of posts about it.
If you have a 2002-2004 SC430, you can go with a SLU Vais Unit for an Aux cable and run your Pandora or Slacker Internet Radio on that. No direct iPod integration is available that I know of for a 2002-2004 SC. Maybe Parrott or Soundgate, I'm not sure.
