IF Velocity happens to be reading this thread and chimes in, he has the only reflective tint worth having. Totally different from that crap. Google? Reflective tint has been around for years. Being how old that RX is, just shows how long it's been around. Not trying to be an arse, but that's a pretty easy find just doing a quick search.

I don't think LFA is going to be a success because of it's price, it's just too expensive for a Lexus. Despite all the technology and gizmo's, it's still a Lexus, not a Lambo or Ferrari! I think it should be around R8, or GTR range.
I think you're right tho, I think people are going to look at SC and they will be impressed on the price and the quality of it!

Any eventual interior plans such as stripping/caging/coloring of various items

Its not an abnormality...very typical. Keep in mind your transmission is sitting right underneath there and puts off a lot of heat and that heat will transfer to the floor pans into the shifter and everything else sitting above it.

User error, the hood pins should of held the hood down regardless. The separation from the outer layer from the main mold on the other hand is a testament of the quality of VIS parts.

Hey man im interested on seeing how you do on the home made lip. I just bought a 95 sc4oo and i plan to update the front bumper to the 97+ front BUT it wont be for a while so if your Depot lip looks good i might try that out on my 95 front. Post those pics! with info on parts and etc

There are many factors to consider in this. Some people don't care about branding and just want to look cool, some consider the superiority in quality of certain brands in reference to their knock off (crappy fitting knock off kits), some people want to support the culture so they do not buy knock offs, and some people just want bragging rights of owning the real thing.
