You may hav good reason to purchase tires for you RX from the dealer, but the markup is huge for identical tires. Price it out for reference. Glad your problem has been diagnosed and taken cre off. And thanks for posting the conclusion. Salim

Does anyone know where I can buy the Lexus RX oem all weather floor mats, that come with the Lexus logo? I called my local dealer and they told me they have stopped selling all floor mats, because of the floor mat controversy right now. I would rather buy new and did not see any on eBay. I prefer brown, but am open to black if I can't find the brown. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Excellent writeup LexusLover , I just installed a Peripheral Ipod gateway PXAMG, it allows to browse your music, by Artist, Album, Genre, and Playlist from the radio controls & displays info on the Nav screen.

I heard it's just drain and fill. But I looked at the differential and you need a hex key to unscrew the bolts. I think you also have to replace the gaskets like with an oil change. I've never done it though.

did you get an alignment with the new tires to ensure that over your trip you do not experience any uneven tire wear. Also since the tires are wider you may need to reset to speedometer.

The fuel tank capacity is published in the owner's manual.
Try not to run RX with gas less than 1/4 tank. The fuel lift pump is happier when submerged in gas. Condensation inside the tank is less and junk/volume_gas is also less when you have more fuel in the tank.
The only negatives are you are carrying more weight running around and you visit more gas stations over time.

I own the Bridgestone Alenza's and the ride and feel are much better than the OEM Goodyears. If I were to purchase again it would either be another set of the Alenzas or the Yokohama PARADA Spec-X.
That said, there are no reviews that I have found that suggests the Road Venture has a lot of vibration. I wonder if there is not some other issue. Perhaps a defective tire belt or a problem ...
