After only a rotation? Maybe your fronts were really low on tread and when you moved the back to front, they were much quieter. I've never had just a rotation smooth out the road...

I bought my LS430 from Ace Imports in Dallas and they left clear plastic sheets on the floor mats which said 'Dealer Must Remove' on them along with Lexus etc. At first I thought this was cool but once I removed them I found they left a bit of glue on the carpet and now my driver's side mat is turning black. Any tips on shampooing them? I will ask Sterling McCall about it when I go next Wed to get a new Smartkey but if they...

I had a GS350 loaner for a few hours yesterday, and also test drove a perfect condition '07 LS460. Prior to this, I had test-driven an '06 GS430 and '05 LS430 Sport back to back in '06 and thought the LS was superior in every aspect -- I didn't even feel that the GS was more sporting feeling, frankly (it had a more "sporting" seating position and cabin atmosphere, but the vehicle dynamics ...

Remove the front wheel-
Caliper Detail-
At this point, based on previous pictures I have seen, the pin retaining the pads was inserted backwards (from the front, not the back).
Remove the clip holding the pin in place-
And remove the pin (can be done by hand if you place pressure on the plate holding the pads in)
Set aside pin, clip, and retainer ...

First let me thank all the others that have posted information on the other platforms; the GS300, and IS250 Forums in particular has lots of info on the Gen 5 Nav systems that made my work a lot easier.
Second you can do this your self, no need to spend the money on some of the commercial devices. All you need is simple tools, a magnetic screwdriver, socket set, wire cutters, small wire ...

I think a place like this will net you your best price. Enthusiasts that can appreciate the work and maintenance that has gone into it will usually pay a little more. Otherwise on Autotrader/Ebay etc.. you're just another Lexus and people will use Blue book to evaluate your car.

Sounds like the motors are going bad, the only fix is getting new ones. I had mine replaced under the CPO warranty, glad i did b/c one mirror cost $714.00 not including labor. Check ebay for replacements mirrors for your LS, and good luck!

Congrats on the UL.
$29k is an ok deal per my personal opinion, if your happy about the price, that's all that matter.
The UL does have issue with the air suspension, suspension is problematic.
As for the navigation system, you can upgrade it to version 9.1 for $199.
It's just a dvd and anyone can upgrade it. The dvd drive is located on the right side, underneth the trunk.
