Squeaky driver's door

I am glad my door isn't alone in its temperament. I am all for long-term solutions so White Lithium it is. I figured I'd let it dry out before adding it and maybe sealing in some moisture.

Swiveling vents repair / cost?
Published (2009-11-25 16:35:00)
Here's what the Owners Manual has to say about swinging vanes: "The vanes directly aimed at the driver and front passenger will swing wider as the room temperature nears the desired temperature. The swinging angle will also change from narrow to wide depending on the room temperature. When you select the "Swing" button with no passenger on the front seat and the "Dual" button is on, the vanes...

It is a UL. (CL only has seat heater controls in rear armrest, not all the other goodies..)
Radar unit behind "L" logo in grille is also part of Pre-Collision Avoidance system, which was introduced in "late 2004" models. Early 2004 models had the radar cruise control unit in the lower grill area, near the passenger side fog light, and did not have Pre-collision system. This car may be an ...

If the ATF smells burnt, it's shot. If the fluid is gone and/or overheats, the torque converter will become less effective. You should only run the WS-type 60K under normal driving (70mph, flat). With the high speeds over mountain passes that you describe, you might want to change it more frequently and/or install a separate tranny cooler like the LX has.

Overall the user reviews are great--9.0 average. Just the lowest ones, and they probably are all written by the same person (keeps saying 'Camry interior' -- what a joke, I've driven Camrys numerous times and they are nothing like the LS 430). Also they make an inaccurate claim " Toyota Crown" in Japan -- when the LS 400 was only rebadged Celsior due to domestic dealer interest in the car, and ...
