Have any CL members have rusted Lexus ? cause i really hate rust and more so on a Lexus. I've heard that Lexus uses galvanized panels, so that probably helps.

Depending on those "few options" this may be a good price. I personally also did not care too much for navigation or ML audio. However, Premium Plus package, HID lights and Bluetooth are more or less required to fully enjoy your Lexus. Keep in mind that you may still knock down the price by a few hundred off the sticker, maybe even a thousand if you are a good bargainer.

ES350 and stealing ?

It would have the same aura to car thieves as a Buick Century / Buick Park Avenue has. Not that I am demeaning the car but joy riders want something a little more exciting.

I just saw a 2007 listed in my paper for $27. Can't remember if it had nav though. But that is very low miles on that car. Is that price after negotiations?

Also, i agree some have had floor mat problems. Especially the idiots who put their winter mats over there reg. mats . I can see where that would be a problem especially as winter mats slip (not able to lock in etc.). And i agree floor mats should be replaced, acelerator pedal shortened etc. but the other fixes they'll make to help protect against sudden acceleration problems not related to mats are what i'm looking forward to.

On any late model car it's not needed. In fact is undesirable as it my clog up drains that are under the car. Today's cars are engineered to withstand rust and corrosion. Lou

Even the Lexus website shows a starting price of $34800 plus $875 transportation. Brings it up to $35,675 minimum. Add to that any options plus ttt.

Good timing for me, i also will have to make my first audio upgrade with the incoming ES. Being an audiophil with my old car, i am limited on this car (which has the ML), i need some excellent SQ sub, i was thinking of transfering my old Kicker DX amp and Image Dynamic 12 inch into my new car with i'm worry about the warranty of the car. I don't want to overpower the sub(s) with ML setting ...

I too had one stolen years ago. 86 Acura Legend, recovered it, in like 2 weeks and only has about $7K or $8K of damage done to it. I know that Hondas usually are up there on the lists of stolen cars, I but I don't remember ever seeing any Lexuses.

I changed mine through the front tire wheel well.(don't know if I spelled that right, LOL). I have 20 inch rims on my 2007 ES350 and thought I had to take the tires off, but you don't. Turn your steering wheel inward an presto your tires are out of the way for the screws to be unscrewed. Unscrew the screws and there is your turning signal bulb along with your side marker bulb. Changed mine ...

If the floor mat is installed properly this should not be a problem. Installing an all weather floor mat on top of an already 'in place' floor mat has been indicated as the cause for the stuck accelerator pedal. Has anyone had a problem with the accelerator getting stuck while there was no problem with the mats??? I wonder how Toyota plans to fix this problem as it does not seem to be a problem...

"That plug" in the console is a female 3.5 mm TRS connector. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRS_connector You need appropriate male-to-male cord to connect to the iPhone headphone jack. Your easiest solution may be to visit nearest Radio Shack.
