Its always fun to read other forums and the blogs/comments on auto sites b/c you really get a true understanding of how the gene pool could you some chlorine. If you think political debates have some people with Dinosaur brains, read some auto comments after an article is posted at a news site. Its truly amazing how either blind people are, completely hateful and totally clueless. I begin there b/c there are a lot of people still claiming and...

For those of you who like to blame the victims instead of the big cooperation. Here is a post from another forum that answer some of the questions such as why didnt the driver shift into neutral, why didnt he or she check the gas pedal to make sure its free, why didnt he just shut off the car. This guy did all of that and the car still is still stuck at wide open throttle. There are posts like this all over the internet, not all...

Thread title should be changed to "Lexus wins Super GT championship" . Yes the NSX is retired, and IMHO good riddance. There is NO POINT racing a car that has been out-of-production for years. Honda says they will have another machine to race, but I really can't figure out what that would be.

I personally think the article is irrelevant. The XF has been around for barely a year now... it takes at least 3 years to build some accurate reliability charts. High costs of repairs is to be expected with any European brand, though. However, I don't see why the MKS is on this list. It's very well built (initial quality), cheap to maintain (maintenance is included for 3 years as far as I know, even on wear items), and overall...

This list doesn't surprise me.
I am glad BMW is nowhere on this list or in the top ten cars to avoid as reported by Forbes.

well i guess i am a bit more extreme. i always think the real rich people, there is no such thing as a recession to them. there is only period of mild growth. so even during "our" recessions, true luxury cars and exotic cars will continue to grow and it's actually a good time coz' "cost" is lower smoewhat.
at the same time, i think it's the mainstream luxury cars that can get affected (...

There are picture of the Q5 all over the internet, shouldnt be hard to find. The coolest option or non-option is the standard panarama sunroof. there is also the optional Audi select a drive system which is pretty cool, you can push a button and change the suspension stiffness, transmsion shift map, throttle toe in map, steering stiffness and steering response ratio.
As far as mods are ...

Not too bad. The sports kit works to improve exterior design.
Still, in my personal choice, I'd still pick a Civic (FD) over a Corolla anytime

MB put up 3 AMG for driving, the C63, SL63, and the E63. The course was substantially longer than the courses I drove through in past events (over a minute), likely possible because of the carefully controlled crowd. Of course I went ahead and drove all the vehicles through the track, what a blast it was! From the sound, the acceleration, the corners, and the braking, it was quite some ...

It is normal for dealerships to try & charge for doing required paperwork but I have never heard of a $500. charge. That is a ripoff, I would refuse to pay any doc fee in this economy

Good question. Rarely is a car an "investment", they are depreciating assets. The other part of life is enjoying it and doing irrational things and if the IS-F brings a smile to your face that the 250 does not, well isn't it "worth" it?
What "numbers" did they run? You see the dealer will try to keep payments the same but that usually means they are less likely to discount the vehicle, give...

5 years ago or especially 10 years ago if you had told me VW was gunning for Toyota's spot... I would have laughed. Now days it seems it's actually plausible.
Their product lineup when considering all brands is VERY strong. They're extremely skilled at making cars that are fun to drive, attractive, comfortable, and just quirky enough to give people a sense of individuality (...
