In the late '90s the speculators welcomed financial crises because theyknew it would mean that Greenspan would open the liquidity spigots to full open. And the speculators used this to make huge profits. The Fed has not changed..it's they only thing they know how to do. So any bad economic news or impending financial crisis is welcomed because the Fed will let the liquidity flow....

The Tin Foilers were looking for a big delivery default today at the COMEX. Instead, the Cartel successfully scared all the tin foils into rolling their contracts, cashing out, etc. instead of taking delivery. Pretty much a non-event.
