Actually, lets just keep it to WW1 era weapons. its actually more advanced... and plenty colorful. check out: its goes 4mph! sneaky sneaky! turning the tide. anyway... yeah, i think it fits best with the low-tech of the serfs and will make your high-tech assets that much more impressive. So i guess war is mostly a trench-warfare thing- which also seems appropriate given the scale of things.
