I lived in Rawlins for 5 years and worked at the hospital. It is nice in the summer but winters can be brutal. Last year my friend told me they had their "50 YEAR SNOW" which was 10 foot snow with 20 foot snow drifts. The people are alright and I have a few friends I still call. Sales jobs would be rough. Oh yeah, Rawlins is
100 miles away in any direction to the next town. There is no ...

Archie, I havent worked for them but I am sure you will find the wages and benifits are pretty good. With the boom that is going on it is hard for them to find good help so they have to be very competitive with wages etc to keep employees. Try looking up
Rio Tinto on the net . they may be affiliated ?

All I can say about Jackson is bring money.
It is THE MOST EXPENSIVE town in Wyoming in which to live. In fact, most don't - they live across
Teton Pass in Idaho or down in Star Valley. A few of our friends drive from Dubois - that's a long drive - every day!
The ski resort properties are fairly expensive, as you will discover [URL="http://www.realtor.com/wyoming"]www.realtor. com/...

There is also Terry Peak in South Dakota. It's about the same distance to it as to the ski slopes in the
Bighorns.

You know, it's funny. I've spent a lot of time on the Wyoming forum over the last few years, and there just doesn't seem to be the same number of threads that interest me these days. I still check it regularly, but I don't see much that I feel qualified to answer or discuss because they deal with specific questions about areas I'm not too familiar with. I don't know if that's because of all ...

As for the beauty you seek, I can say that almost every state in the west has it in spades. WY, CO, MT, ID, UT, AZ, NM, OR, and WA all have a lot of beautiful places where you can have a mountain view and a nearby stream or river.
Outdoor activities are abundant in such areas, too, and most of these areas also have four seasons. CA has this in many areas, too, and a lot of the places that ...
