Yeah, in NY you either have to work 4 or more days in a week or make more than the maximum weekly benefit of $405 to lose benefits that week, otherwise you get partial benefits that week (you do get your benefits back on weeks you don't actually work and the days you do work do push off when your benefits end by that amount of time too).

There is no way to fix it. Management are saying they hate the employee when they do that over and over again.
