Took the family up to Horseshoe Bend yesterday to ride the train. There was snow covering all the hills so might have to wait a few days before any serious exploring on XR 400.

Cambridge is a small town that has not change much at all since I was a kid. I really like the small town feel of it. I grew up about 30 miles down the road from cambridge. The biggest problem with small towns is it is tough to make a living there. I don't plan on having to work much more than part time once we move there. Mostly just to keep busy. Ontario Oregon is pretty close for the major shopping, and Boise is not that much further....

I've heard from sources that Idaho is about one of the Whitest states in the country. Around 8 or 9 out of 10 people there being white people. Is it really like this? What about Boise?

Sounds more like the Boise area of Idaho, there are many small towns out of Boise that might suit you, I like Idaho City, Garden Valley and they are not that far from Boise. Idaho Falls is too much desert but you can try looking at Salmon and Challis Idaho, they are not too far and are in the mountains and lots of wonderful areas all along the rivers...look them up online think all of these ...

Props to Channel 8 in Idaho Falls for watching UT the last few weeks as well. Other Idaho Falls media had opportunities to see very detailed information and turned it down several weeks ago.
From KIFI, it is the AP post, nonetheless, Idaho residents looking at Idaho news outlets, can find this on KIFI.

I've been mulling that over too. I just find the standard quad much more "fun" when alone and you can get a two-up for a part- time passenger. If I was to plunk down for the more expensive sidexside I would rather get a Jeep CJ. If you have seen some of the pics that Toyman posts, it looks like the trails are barely wide enough for a quad in a lot of places. You can throw your weight around and ...

I'm not certain which "southern" Idaho you're speaking of. I am in southeast Idaho; Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Shelly, Blackfoot, Ammon and a host of others are classified as southeast Idaho.
Twin Falls, Kimberly, Rupert, Burley would be under south central Idaho. The Boise area is southwest.
The area I'm in is high desert, no rush hour traffic (at least what I consider to be rush hour ...

Ouch, I use my dealer as they are actually less expensive than a local one I used to use. Service was good at both places, so I opted for the money saver I will shoot you a DM though.
