RUDENESS. Hmm....I moved to and lived in New York City for a few years, and I didn't think they were rude at all. I thought people were extremely helpful, honest, straight-forward, and mostly GENUINE. I've been to Miami and didn't pick up on any rudeness...just seemed like a sunny place all in all. I do read the boards where people constantly toss around the strereotype of the rude New Yorker. If Miami is filled with New...

Ok, I found an awesome pizza joint in Coral Springs, it had ratings of 5 stars all over the internet and it did not disappoint. You can even track your pizza that's being made through their website. www.mypepperoni grill .com

Housing Help Needed - South Florida

It will be just the two of us (my son will have finished college by the time we move). Since the goal is to be able to help my mother, and the costs in Pompano aren't as high as I first imagined, we'll try to be close by. We are in the initial stages of figuring it out and wouldn't be moving until later next year. Thanks to what I've been reading on various postings, and responses from you folks, as well as checking out...

Go to winterfest web sight www.winterfestparade.com Click on Information tab on the top bar and then click on Parade and Boat Entry Go down to the bottom of the page and it will give you a list of areas that you can anchor to watch the parade. I've done in the past the S.W. side of Sunrise Blvd and the New River Cut and both have been excellent locations...... You're going to have to get there early... So bring food, drinks, music...

There are some amazing housing deals - the job market depends on your industry and your profession - but generally is pretty bleak.

please stay away from trampolines...they are deadly and are the source of many serious orthopedic injuries. Please trust me on this. A friend of mine broke his neck when he was little on one. I have also seen femur fractures, dislocated shoulders and other injuries from these things. I can tell you for certain that when my little one becomes a toddler and a teen, there is no way I will ever ...

Moving, I don't live there yet, but have done a ton of research on this very thing. I believe without a doubt the commute from Weston would be better to sunrise. I believe that Weston is about 2 towns over so it shouldn't take long at all - I think it might be a bit of a treck from Coral Springs, however, I don't think it is far enough to make you reconsider living there. I also believe you ...

I am glad that you are happy with your decision to move here. I know about Woodmont and I do wish we could move in there. We went to an open house in that location and LOVED the house but it was way too expensive. The neighborhood I really like is on the SE corner of Pine Island and NW 81st Street. One issue I have with Woodmont is the lack of sidewalks but that seems to be a problem throughout ...

When I think of Pompano Beach, I don't think of it as an expensive area. You may want to look at Hollywood, as they have a small downtown area with artistic like shops & restaurant. But safety can be hit or miss. Las Olas is a beautiful area, but I believe expensive in comparison to Pompano Beach. Coconut Grove in Dade County is artistic, but safety is hit or miss.

The only company other than Home Depot or Lowes is Dolphin tile and carpet. There is not one business I can recommend for painting other than the two above. It seems like one is always taking a chance with painting business and small flooring companies
