My Shar-pei used to just chew herself to the point of bleeding when I started turning the heat on every year. I had to first go through giving her injections myself once a week, as the vet thought it was just the typical skin problem associated with the breed which can get extremely bad and the skin blisters. Thanks. My confusion arose because I was only aware of English and French bulldogs. I hesitate to post anymore in this thread lest I be mistaken again for bulldog or pit bull bashing.
