My Shar-pei used to just chew herself to the point of bleeding when I started turning the heat on every year. I had to first go through giving her injections myself once a week, as the vet thought it was just the typical skin problem associated with the breed which can get extremely bad and the skin blisters. So the only reason you would think that the Bulldog is related to a "Pitbull" (in quotes, cause it's not a breed) is because the Bulldog mauled someone? So only Pitbulls and dogs related to them can maul someone? Moderator cut: rude My Porkchop goes around mauling people on a regular basis. Age, sex, coloring, wearing a collar or microchipped etc - ? WOuld contact Shetland Sheepdog Rescue in your area (google them for their contact info) and also post on Craigslist, the more info the better. Good luck.

my dog usually poops on walks, and i do buy the bags. i use the biodegradable kind that comes in a roll that fits in a dispenser i attach to her leash. if you buy a bunch of rolls at a time they're not incredibly expensive - i think 7 or 8 bucks for around 100 bags. i get them at petco.

Get a trainer. You brought him home, that's a commitment, honor it.
Fear aggressive dogs aren't dominant, they're scared. When they feel threatened they'll bite. Fight or flight. If they feel there is no way for them to escape, they go to biting.
Children don't know to not look a dog directly in the eye and that could be what set him off. Your brother may have also.
