Highland Park Village (Mockingbird & Preston) has probably the prettiest Christmas decorations in town- millions of white lights in every single tree, plus a Christmad tree in the center. Then take a drive down Beverly Drive and Lakeside for magnificent homes & Christmas lights.

North Central Dallas area? Sounds like you're near Addison. A LOT of restaurants in that town (most are chains). Plano also has some good restauants (West Plano, off the Dallas North Tollway). Try this link: www.guidelive.com Reviews of restaruants as well as what's going on in town.

I'd look at Richardson itself, it's a nice place. Plano ain't too far off either. Newer but doesn't have as much character as Richardson.

Know these kind of sandwiches are the furthest thing from heart healthy, but it's sure nice to know you could find one if you've got a mean craving. NY style spots like Deli News in N Dallas and Zinsky's ...

As for the rest, it really comes down to where you will be working and how much you want to spend. You could certainly get some land and horses up here in Argyle, but that much land and building a house won't be cheap. I know Saddlebrook Estates across the street from me has ...
