Sorry I can't remember the names of the stores, but they probably would be able to help you. Perahps you can google jewelry supplies, baton rouge and call some stores that come up. Also check BREC, they...

thanks alot for the quick reply. I was considering private schools, but if i'd move to Zachary, public schools would be just fine? And can you please name a couple, because i have no idea of schools in that area.

It's small compared to some other cities, but it does make you feel more a part of the community. Typically everybody in the booths will talk friendly with you, shoot the bull, etc. The prices are competitive, although the fruit and veggies can be high obviously when they're not in prime season. The crowds, it depends. It's generally a local crowd unless there's something else going on ...

I know people who commute to NOLA from BTR. I personally wouldn't do it, but I certainly understand the need to sometimes. It's doable.

Not sure what to say. I visited relatives in Fairfax and though it is pretty, its not really all that. Aside from NRA museum and some asian stores, it was a boring suburb. Anyway, coming from places like Cali and NOVa you will feel like you entered another country. Im really not kidding here. We do things very different in Louisiana and we prefer it that way. There are great schools to be ...

Riverview puts you close to an industrial area but I think it's pretty safe. I think they've all been remodeled recently, too. But If I'm not mistaken, Chatsworth Court is new construction. But like the previous poster said, if we know what you'll be working/going to school we can give a little more insight. Crossing my fingers that everything works out for you!
