1. What adult sports leagues are there in the fall & winter?
Check in
at the library or the Aquatic Center. I know guys that play basketball and softball. I always "assumed" it was in Leagues, but never asked. I will when I see them next.
2. Are there any good sports bars for watching NFL games? MadDogs on McChulloch is probably the best for watching the games.
3. Any other advice/...

I think alot of Michiganders get sick and tired of the cold, depressing falls and winters. There certainly are alot of grey skied days here.....and it does get depressing after a while. For alot of us (I live and was born in Michigan) the sun,
warm weather, and variety of Arizona has alot of appeal.
The other thing is; jobs in Michigan are declining at an incredible rate and have been the ...

If you want to tell us more about
Frank Zappa, you can just omit the "You might be a red-neck if" list. You could save everyone the time. Including yourself.

I would suggest northern Arizona, around Flagstaff. Yes, that is where it can snow in the winter, but it is still a fairly temperate winter climate compared to a lot of other places, and the area has the right "vibe" for what you are looking for, as well as
natural food stores and other related services. Further south in the Verde Valley, in the Camp Verde or Cottonwood areas might work also....

"I'm not familiar at all with the desert and the surrounding santa fe / albq. area."
Wow, you really are not familiar. I doubt any would consider Santa Fe or Albuquerque a "surrounding area" to the Arizona desert.
If you do find a really small, flat
desert town (where neighbors are a half mile away and a grocery store is 15 minutes away), you are going to have a very hard time ...

St. Johns area is fairly remote and very small town. Can't speak on how well goats, chickens,
organic gardening, etc does there.
It is fairly dry, so good well water access is a must. Here in the Tucson area, it is not uncommon to drill over 700 feet to our aquifer,
but that may be a different story up at St. Johns. Others thoughts?

$225 for one mile over sounds excessive....are you sure you have those numbers right??....
and you say the photo radar is on recently-annexed Eloy land, then you say it is in
Arizona City????
I know you're angry and I know the road you're talking about (exit 200??) which heads only for Az City....
does Eloy plan to move the camera around?....is this stretch of road indeed the most ...
