Then your really out of luck ules you search for and find one.  ATT provides a basic free application.  If it doesn't suit your needs and you don't want to pay there isn't much we can do for you.   Third party software companies design software based off of needs.  If there is a high demand for something its more likely it will be created.  There is nothing from preventing software designers from creating an application...

I ran another test this morning and my email with an attachment came through in a matter of seconds. I guess something got fixed. There's still no trace of any of the previous test emails I sent.  They're in some bit bucket somewhere.   ATT customer care was utterly unhelpful in my contacts with them. I expect as much. But it's still disappointing.   Thanks to you guys that ran confirmation tests. Message Edited by...

Hello again!   First of all, quick clearup. I'm Mr. Parker. The account's under F. {Personal content removed}    Parker, but I (the son) am the only family member with forum access, plus I own the primary phone on the line. Go figure. In fact, my mother just moved over to "her"/my FamilyTalk Plan. :-) I might need to update my profile so people know I'm Mr. Parker.   Yeah,...

Sounds like there could be an outage or problem with your internet connection. You might want to call customer service to make sure you have the correct internet plan.

It would depend on the device you purchase.  There are some (like the Treo) that allow you to use a data & messaging plan only on the device.  Most devices though do require a voice plan for Postpaid.  Not since the OGO has AT&T made devices specifically for texting.

After talking to techs from LG and AT&T I've discovered that no phones AT&T offers are able to log into multiple IM platforms. I got a bunch of lame excuses about how my "cell phone is not a computer" and "my cellphone is not a smartphone". This is all BS. A cellphone is a microcomputer. It uses a processing chip and memory just like any personal computer. The only reason I can't log...

I believe its $0.25. I have unlimited texts and last month sent/received 9 international msgs, the bill was $2.25. You can add an international text bundle for 9.99. I can't remember how many texts you get though, 1000 at least i think. Check the plans.

I had the same thing on my account.  I called customer service and spoke to an awesome representative.  She is looking into my 19 charges (at $.50 each!).  It appears to be international roaming, but I haven't left southern Ohio.

I'm not sure but it may be a third party subscription or something. You may want to contact customer service to see if they can find anything out for you.

I think you are able to get unlimited texting with pay as you go and just pay for minutes but I'm not sure. You may want to contact at&t to see for sure.
