I base my reaction on the following:
It happened during the George W. Bush administration.
The committe was composed of a majority of Democrats and some RINOS.
There is no proof that Bin Laden was actually where he was supposed to be.
All parties were operating with no real understanding of the loyalties of the population. It was learning as we go.
