poem 15
Published (2009-12-03 06:45:00)
Keys Unlocking the lumbering, leaden door I waved for the next arrival to come. A younger woman, her face red, stepped forth from the front of the endless, snaking line and into my dank office to sit down. Wiping the pale dust from the open book, I surveyed the many seeds she had sown. But before I could finish her treasons a man walked in, treading a path of blood. "No cutting in line, you foolish cretin," I told him,...

It breaks my heart
Published (2009-12-05 20:33:00)
It breaks my heart to think of your pain and suffering; How the wages of my sin cost You everything. It breaks my heart to think, How I pushed you away. Yet, You lovingly pursued me each and every day. Not wanting me to perish, You revealed Yourself to me. I am grateful you're my Lord, that I know You, personally. Teresa R. Earlywine 2009

It is time To Gather Momentum Knowing that your season has come Harness every wind and storm Like the eagle, to drive you home. Receive anointing for acceleration God will give you divine speed Get ready for unusual promotion In place of failure, you shall succeed. Remove the garment of mourning Don the garment of praise. Your New Day is dawning Its the day of favour and great grace. Receive anointing to overtake kings. Confess what you...

Let you Some day be...
Published (2009-11-26 02:27:00)
. . Let you "Some day," be today. Faith is always in the Now! Have you not had enough delay? Act now for principalities to bow. ‘ It is time to say, ’Enough is enough! I must possess my possession. My God is more than enough. He will turn around my recession.’ God is bigger than your problems Your Big Issue shall be resolved. It shall no longer be your emblem. In the Blood it shall be dissolved....

You are a dreamer who hopes he gets through
All of the garbage the world throws at you
Is there protection in case it gets tough
Some kind of shield that will soften the rough
Maybe there's someone who's ready to aid
One just like you who is sadly mislaid
Right from creation you took the wrong road
Now you are ...

I have trouble
keeping my eyes on You
where You are
at the end
of all of these tribulations
When I remember
how You have given me hope
and a future waiting at the end
it makes it easier to make it through
death defeated, life abundant
Help me lean not
on my own understanding
abandoning my own pursuit
of righteousness
trading it for obedience to Your will

If you just let go
You could see My power
If you just let go
You could see My love
When the veil was torn
It was finished
So run into the throne room of God
Where miracles and healing have come
Call Him Father
For by His Son
You can run into the throne room of God
He loves you
Oh, how he loves you
You're a precious ...

On a clear blue, wintry morning,
I gazed upon the neighborhood
In a quiet contemplation
Of the bright, white, frosty rooftops
Along December's sunlit streets.
I marveled at the joy it brought
To see each glimmering sparkle
Of light reflect upon my eye,
On this clear blue, wintry morning.
As the sun's warmth touched each shingle,
A transformation then began,
And I stared in ...

This is how the end will be Autumn, and a snake spilling lies. Forests and a sweet damning vice. A push into the dry lands, and a law to keep. Winter, and a heart melts the ice. Deserts and a blood sacrifice. Leaves falling over the earth, and a great dark sea. Springtime, and a river of life. Heaven and a new paradise. A prostitute drunk on blood, and a wedding feast.

The depths of seas I am in the depths of limitless seas, and darkness is enclosing me, all around, despite the light above, distant and small. Walking the vastness, taking old steps again, hoping to remove the weight left by the rains. I watch the still and distant sun withdraw, and return to these memories of let-downs, for the waters to swallow me entirely.

Tomorrow I eye him, and I see only a curious calm. A crowd has gathered, and he glances below. I say meaningless words and motion to myself, something meant to comfort what I cannot know. He turns to me and smiles, then he takes his step. With my eyes covered, I pray for tomorrow.

Take me, Lord, as I lie here, silent and still; Suffering through death’s final dark chill. I feel a tear from my depths, from my chest rising up, From thoughts of You coming and bringing Your rest.
Through the darkness of death, just a speck of light! Grows larger and larger, I’m catching my breath! And there You stand, open arms to receive, Your face ...

The autumn sun
is slowly sinking.
As I sit here alone
thinking.
How my Lord,
and my King;
Lovingly created
everything.
He placed the stars
in the night sky.
Like billions of diamonds
they sparkle on high.
He created
you and me.
His death on the cross
secured our eternity.
No good things
does He withhold.
He wants all to come
into His fold.

Here is an old one I felt like reposting.
Remolding after Birth
He made me as He wanted me
This is how I am to be
Twisted and turning
My back is burning
Stand up straight play along
This has always been my song
Let the Lord lead
This has always been the plea
Listen to Him let it go
This process has been slow
It was not always easy to trust
But ...

As I feel this body’s ache and what sometimes seems like unbearable pain, I think of what You did to remove my soul’s dark stain. I think about how small my trials here actually measure, especially compared to all our sins upon Your shoulder. I think of how much each strike of the scourge tore Your flesh apart, and how the weight of the world’s sin must have broken ...

If I knew which way the shore was...

The Lesson
I awoke to the promptings of my voice,
"Wake up! Arise!" it said, "Come walk with me!"
"And what," I asked, "Would be my second choice?"
"There is something outside that you should see,
A wonder for waking eyes to behold."
Now this aroused my curiosity,
And so, arising as I had been told,
I wandered into the morning air,
Discovering it dark, dewy, and cold.

Splitting atoms The air flows, despite the war below. I savor the stale light of day as I home in on the crazed, dusty haze. But you should know before I drop on in to your shindig of cataclysmic sin; make sure you get the truth on this man. Some call me a blessing when I\'m called to clean grit daily from some victim\'s bones. But splitting atoms like ripe apples to their cores? It took years...

Adam\'s ghosts Our name is Adam and our heart dried, as we prayed for this, our day of hate, that we may have release from this shame. We beckon him, please, to close his eyes, so that we may loosen this polished, this lightning steel from our right side. And with pin, and with empty chamber, our murderer faced his own graceless fate, and died with these haunted ghosts of mine.
