Gameplan looks pretty good from what I read so far. And I didn't know there was a site for christian manga only so I am going to check the rest of it out later.

I share a lot of your opinions, but then I've seen a ton of great, well-produced original ideas come along. Until a few years ago we had Megazeen, which was a great anthology comic. Some of the stuff was good, some bad. Nonetheless, we miss it *sniff*. If you look hard enough, you'll find the good stuff. Only problem is, it is hard to find all the good comics made by Christians. I thought someone was doing a catalog of some kind, one...

I've run into this same complaint before but it's been on other Christian forums, but my answer is always, have you not seen my comic?! Okay I don't really say that lol! But it motivates me to be creative while trusting God to lead me. So the result of that is my current comic. You can view some preview pages of my comic Jackket Knightmare: http://www.comicspace.com/velvetnightmarestudios and you can view a trailer...

I think there's less a problem of there being not enough good christian comics as there is a problem with just plain not enough christian comics. Too many creators are discouraged by not being "professional" enough when really, getting work done is probably one of the most professional things we could do. Sure it's all great when someone takes their time and does a project right but most of us...

I think some people, in their desire to do Christian material in any medium or genre, forget that virtually all the great teacher, preachers, and prophets spent time "in the wilderness" in preparation for their ministry. Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness, Paul spent an unknown but significant number of years in Arabia, Moses wandered the desert for 40 years before he encountered the burning bush. They...

So i guess he didn't raise that money he was supposed to, and God smoked him, huh? I remember way back, when he said that if he didnt raise several million dollars for some project at his school, then God was going to take his life. What a pile of crap that was. Not sure what god he was referring to, but my Savior doesn't threaten to kill me if i don't write him a big check. That being said, i ...

Very nice-looking forum!
Hi--I'm Tom Finley. Writer/illustrator. Worked for years for Gospel Light, Zondervan, Youth Specialties and others. I'm now a children's pastor.
Many moons ago I created a series of 16-page (more or less) comic stories based on a guy named Herschel Snodgrass. This was back in the days of ink bottles and Windsor-Newton Series 7 spotter brushes. Herschel is...
