HA! good luck. There are dozens of
shwarma,falafel,and humus joints in NY,but not one real deli in Israel. Ok,this is what I have found,that comes close.. I keep kosher,so the list might be incomplete,but as far as I know,there are no non-kosher delis in Israel,either. The New Deli chain located in Modiin and Jerusalem-pathetic. Agvania is pretty good, dairy, with ok pizza and good pastas as well nice place to sit Ashrafy very very authentic persian food, meats outstanding and the service is good Le Relais Jaffa, french, meat is very good, as is the goose liver, though you may not be able to get it anymore, they banned it in Israel recently Toros, what was el gaucho,

Can't help you as much with Tel Aviv and the Galil (though personally I'm dying to try this place called the Milk Man and
