Too true, so I've noted.. I'm willing to travel anywhere in Illinois, can go into Indi, Kentucky, and Tennessee, and probably Missouri, and *maybe* Iowa, not sure. =\

Yep we get the dark grays, we just sold a little dark gray male with some very nice badger stripes. Right now everyone decided to have cotties...although one little boy is going chocolate on me....

Well, I don't have one to offer currently, but I needed one a few months ago and posted a request on the Yahoo group Hedgehog Freeshare . Lots of people offered wheels to me, even bucket wheels, so you might try joining the group and asking there. Everything is free - you just pay shipping.

The glider ban in St. Paul was/is an interesting thing. They had a two-fold concern...first that they were somehow dangerous to human health (rabies, etc.) and secondly that of animal welfare. The thought there was because of their specialized needs--how could you guarentee that this exotic animal received proper care? Fortunately, gliders posing a danger to human health was shot down, but my understanding was that they were banned based upon...

Yes, algerian Blacks are extremely rare and it will be virtually impossible for you to find a true black one. The closest thing you'll find is an Algerian Dark Grey. These are a bit more common. A lot of breeders produce the greys and dark greys. I'm sure Sarah probably produces some.... I do, but I'm all the way in NC. You could also try hedgie haven: http://www.hedgiehaven.com/ I don't know of any other breeder in that...

I bought some liners from someone on here a couple years ago that were corduroy...does anyone make those or remember who makes them? I need about four and I have no sewing talent in any way. I use them for my chinchillas, and I'm not a fan of the fleece. If you know who makes them, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks much!!
