8500lbs with my 6.0 Vmax Combined weight of load in the bed of the truck and trailer. Truck seem to handle the weight pretty well for a 1500.

Use the tow haul mode when towing. It raises the rpms during shifting to help keep the truck in optimum HP while towing. Also keeps the transmission from jumping back and forth from OD. In my opinion, your best option would be 4.10 gears. With the mods you listed, the gears will help alot. Everything else you do will cost more. You could consider a cam swap to get more torque, ...

If your truck is a shortbed, then you'll likely have to have a slider hitch. To check, in the bed of the truck measure from the cab to the center of the rear axle. On a shortbed, its roughly 3'6".
