clogged fuel lines , bad fuel pump, clogged cats.... 1. does it smell like rotten eggs when u smell the exhaust, if so beat em with a hammer and the inside will come out through the exhaust. 2. Seafoam it through the vac line on the brakebooster and gastank. 3. check your fuelpump These are some options to try first

Is the control head the same this as the heater control? If so, I have tried 3 different controlers.

you would need an offset muffler unless you can move the tail pipe over. but the easiest thing to do it just put a turndown after the glasspack

Looking at a 1996 Chevy 1500 4x4 Ext. cab with a 5.7 and auto tranny. It all seems to be orginal and has 182,000 miles. No visible leaks or problems. The interior and exterior are both clean. Truck drives well and transmission shifts fine. I've never owned a Chevy before but I can get this one for $3000. My only aprehension is it has air shocks and trailer brakes that makes it appear ...

My brother has a 97 that did that but in both directions. Not fun when your in traffic and the steering just goes away like that. Anyway his ended up being the steering gear and had to replace the whole thing. My 98 did just like yours, just to one side. Mine ended up being a steering sensor in the column which was a easy fix. Sensor wasn't cheap though. Good luck.

Well I will be repalcing my 10 bolt soon. I am leaking gear oil on the driver's side. I pulled the drum and saw the destruction. My question is, If I can find a 10 bolt that came out of a Z71, will my axles work in them? Is the C-clips the same? My current one is a 5 lug and I believe a 30 spline count. I love my 4.10 gears, but 3.73's would work. I think I can limp it for a few weeks ...

I have a 99 Tahoe with Daytime Running Lights. I was wondering if it is possible to disable them? I would much rather turn the heads lights on and off on my own. Has any done this before? Is it more hassle than it worth? Any insight would be much appreciated. Thx.

prob a hole in the fire wall or around the fender area. you will need to get down there to find it. A good way to do it is to pull the carpet up(you will need to do that anyway to let it dry out properly to prevent mold....) then just find the hole and patch it up with whatever. Are u sure it happens only when it rains, cause thats what mine seemed to do but it turned out to be the ...

Here is my problem, 96 Cheyenne c2500 vortec 350 5 speed 2wd. A/C compressor was not kicking on, but the the heater control in the dash was working fine. Recirculate button lit up, a/c button lit up, high, medium, low, and off worked, blah blah blah, everything worked just wasn't blowing cold. Messed with under hood a/c relay and got the a/c compressor to kick on. Bought new relay and ...

i replaced my one wheel peel 3.42 rearend with a G80 3.73 out of a 92 z71. i have the front diff too, but i havent even looked to see how hard it will be to replace. is it one of those jobs that u just look at it and know what to do, or is there special tools needed etc? btw both axles came from the same truck, does the front axle have the factory limited slip too?...
