did the glass fall out or the mount the glass is attached to if you have a place like Jacks Glass or another place that replaces windshields they have the glues to put those back in i had to have the drivers mirror glass replaced on a 2000 chevy 3500 and it was only $15 for the glass and install

I know 95 had the 4L60E and I think 94 was the changeover year depending on production date. I know the 93 had the 700R4.

My truck had that problem too. I just pulled up on the peddle with the release pulled out and the light went out.

Yea I kinda figured I would have to drop the diff but was looking at it and im preaty sure I can drop it without takeing the front end apart. I think it will slide right between the 2 drop cross members for my lift. I just put my lift on this summer so all those bolts and stuff have recently been broken loose so its not goona be all bad just no truck for a little while lol. I might just try and find a diff with 3:73 gears from the junkyard...

Which tranny do you have? 700R4 or 4L60E? The 700R4 uses cables for the speedo and the 4L60E uses a pulse counter and electrically controls your speedometer needle. It sounds to me like the classic chevy problem of a bad cable (or just needing some graphite lube in the cable housing) and needs a new spring on the needle.

Is the brake peddle staying up all the way? Could be the E-brake not staying up all the way either. Either way it could be a bad switch.

I have that system on my truck. Its the 4x4 Posi Lock, and it is really nice. Just pull a cable similar to a choke cable, and it engages. Even works while driving(slowly of course). It is a nice set-up.
