You can put a single one the inlet pipe before the Y.
Buddy had this on his Ram Charger and it sounded really good!

MagnaFlow hands down....do the SS cat back system....the only way to go.
Flow masters choke off more than they flow.

Personally I`d get a cat. What ever high flow cat you can find, even if its the cheapest, it will do its job and help your truck for the better. So just pull up summit select your diameter and get you a high flowing converter now.

Actually I did a swap on my S10 to a Flowmaster 50-series and it sounded great. No
drone and not to loud, but def. made a nice note out the back.
