Cool. Thanks. I`ll stay away from dumps then. But I have only seen one other truck with the other idea. Thank it should look pretty cool. -Jake

If you dump it, it will echo off the ground under the truck making it louder. As far as drone, there is hardly none. The exit tips don`t change the sound, so do what you personally like.

You can put a single one the inlet pipe before the Y. Buddy had this on his Ram Charger and it sounded really good! Matt

i have a 95` chevy c1500. 5.7 v8. and i have single pipe, going spliting into a y-pipe and coming out at 90 degrees at the end, and i was wondering if i put a glass pack on, could i just put one big glass pack were the single pipe is? or do i need to put one after the Y (so theres 2 glass packs, one for each side).and what would the loudest best sounding glass pack and/or muffler be?

When I liked glass packs I had cherry bombs. I had a 68 Chevy C-10 with a Buick high performance custom built 350 in it and I had dual cherry bombs on it and I had larger pipes on it so it wasn`t all that loud but it had a real nice rumble. The smaller pipes make more noise. I had dual 3" pipes with 5" echo cans on the back. The truck ran a 1/4 mile in 14 seconds on a 3.07 rear end. I wish I would have changes it to 4.10`s and see...

just about all glasspacks sound the same. straight through flow with fiberglass packing is all it is. but there are purple hornies, cherry bomb, thrush, i think flowmaster even makes one.

Personally I`d get a cat. What ever high flow cat you can find, even if its the cheapest, it will do its job and help your truck for the better. So just pull up summit select your diameter and get you a high flowing converter now. here i`ll even make it easier on you: http://www.summitracing.com/search/.....rice%7cAsc

Actually I did a swap on my S10 to a Flowmaster 50-series and it sounded great. No drone and not to loud, but def. made a nice note out the back.
