The 500 psi seems exaggerated. I wouldn`t imagine it being that high but I can`t say for certain. I have worked Airplane hydraulic systems and have seen what
high pressure hydraulic lines look like and the one on my truck doesn`t look anything like those. It doesn`t seem it could handle that much pressure. I think the power steering pump works more off of volume flow than pressure. ...

wat size motor? im pretty positive that
small block chevy is around 1.5 to 2.5 thosandths of an inch

I just did what you want to do...And it can be done, your going to need an adapter bracket if you want to keep your cruise control @ Overdrive., Also you might not be able to use the same hoses for your heater, as the holes in the intake may be different, and sensors will have to mount in different places.. Other then that its a pretty straight forward swap, your not using a computer ...

tose lq4`s are cheap.... maybe there will be a swap in my truck
