heres what I got a 05 silverado 1500, my problem just recently began with no brake lights to mt trailer plug. I tested at the rear of the truck and nothing,at the fuse box on the left side of the drivers dash I have no power coming in to the trailer fuses the 10 amp fuses. I checked all the fuses under the hood and all are good. there must be an in line fuse some where that supply`s just these 10 amp fuses or am I just overlooking something?...

Check for corrosion where the fuses plug in. Also check for loose wires coming into fuse box. Sounds like a loose wire or a possible short.

You probably have a short, or electronics failure in the cluster. If its working again, I dont think I would do anything right now. Wait to see if it does it again.

2004-up had a TSB about the clusters... GM was covering them to 70,000 miles or 7 years. Could be the problem.
