Humble Extravaganza Days

I got to met Greg today as I had his shop install the Vette servo and service my transmission. He's a stand up guy, welcomed me to the SSR family and we talked cars and he showed me some of his toys. Very knowledgeable and helpful, anyone aroud here in need of some transmission work, this is the place to go. Adam

Christmas Parade - The Colony TX
The Colony Parade of Lights is Decemeber 5 @ 5:00 pm starting from Little League parking lot on North Colony. I will organize the event and submit the application form, if we can get commits from a few SSRs. We can discuss this over breakfast at Weck's on Nov's 22.

2010 Colorado Meeting
I just got the dates and location for the Colorado meeting next summer. I plan to go.
It will be in Colorado Springs from Mon. July 5-Fri. 9th.At the Cheyenne Mountain Resort and Conference Center.

Christmas Parade
Any news on a repeat of The Colony's Christmas parade? We are willing to attend, if the SSR's are planning to show up. Or we can search around for another Christmas event.

I was building engines for Gene Henderson and AMC, back in the early 80s,
for the SCCA Pro Rally circuit. I was just wondering if that series is
history, as I never see anything in our papers anymore about the POR or
Snowdrift rallies? I know it was controversial back then, as all out
performance stages were being run on closed public roads.
