The install is progressing nicely. So far I've had to grind on it twice so it's not exactly a bolt-on. Turns out I was wrong in my previous post about the injectors too. The injector bore size in the intake is OK if you pop the plastic caps off the tips of the LS2 injectors. The problem is the length. The fuel rail kit that Edelbrock sells for this intake will not work with either of the factory-length LS2 injectors. It's only...

Why don't you try the tips first for a few days and see what you think. I put just the tips and really like it. I'm not going to change a thing. You can always put the muffler on later if your not happy with it. Mine is a 6 speed and they do sound different and I have never driven an automatic so I can't tell you what they sound like. Tom

Some interesting stuff here! Ever scince I got rearended it takes speed bumps harder than it used to from when I first got it Was thinking on going to an air bag ride to smooth it out again.

It looks real solid. You did a great job designing the brace. I have a few questions though. The stock brace and the Envoy brace fit in an indent on the bottom of the gas tank. Does your brace contact the gas tank at all or did you leave some room when you fabricated it? Are you going to fabricate more and sell them? How heavy is it? Not that it will make that much difference ...
