I've got Eibach 2.8" lowering springs and DJM Suspension track bar brackets, shock extenders, and shorter anti-sway bar dogbones. It pretty much leveled the truck out. I ran with only the lowering springs for a couple of years and didn't like the ride and drive so I added the DJM Suspension parts. It made all the difference in the world and the ride returned pretty much to stock. The spring rate is a little higher...

Re: New to me Predator

Ok, I tried all the steps I used above, plus hooked up a charger to the battery.  I am still getting the script error.  The only other aftermarket add-on that I hadn’t unhooked yet was the CB, so I pulled the fuses from that.  Still didn’t work.      I tried several times, and I did get a couple new errors; access denied, and wrong key or something like that.  The more I try,...

Anyone lowered the rear of their AV? I'm tired of mine looking like something a mullet wearing f body dude would drive. Any recommendations on a spring kit that does NOT hinder towing and keeps at least a good as stock ride? BTW, I have an 04 2wd standard suspension.

I am in desperate want.... no need for a cat-back on my '09 AV.  My biggest fear is getting something with the evil cabin drone.  My dad has a '06 big block and just had his Flowmaster taken off after a few months because the drone was just too much.  It was almost painfull to ride in the truck.  Right now I am leaning towards a Zoomer exhaust since they claim there is no drone. ...

Quote from: MS03 2500 on 11/05/09 01:14 PM You guys got me thinking(I hate when that happens) and I found out a couple of things The controller for the 6 speed in different and can't be used in older trucks it a different speed data bus.  But the good news I'm sure the aftermarket will come out with a controller for it. Every GM forum is asking the same thing. I hope they make one for the 2002 Avalanche.

I have some bad news...and some more bad news, for those of you wanting to get the ZF S650 manual trans. First, they are a good $3500+ new. Second, ZF has discontinued the S650. You could get a used/reconditioned one...but they just don't break and are almost impossible to find one used. You might get one from a junk yard if you catch them towing a totaled Ford Superduty or a 1 ...
