I have them and like them. They are stiffer than the stock Bilsteins were but not overly so. If you want to retain the cushy car-like stock ride, don't get them as they make the Av ride more like a truck or a slightly stiffly sprung sports car. I prefer the more controlled ride; a benefit is that there's much less of the big, sloppy body roll around turns than with the stock Bilsteins.

Quote from: ms38w on Today at 12:29 PM I hear twin turbos with stainless steel exhaust work pretty well on the 5.3L's.  I also know where you can get them at a reasonable price...but you'll want to beef up the tranny, rear end, transfer case, axles and drive shafts first.  That will run you about 10 grand.  Then you can think about some serious power mods. Did you get the set up running

Re: Predator Problem

Well I got my Predator in the mail and started to run the tune and what not and it backed up my truck all fine and dandy then I got this crap.... When I go to install the tune I get this message, Vehicle software is revision incompatible for tuning, see your authorized dealer. What does this mean? I am figuring by all the searches I was doing that I would have to send it in to get the software updated, is this correct?

I am looking for more power for towing! You'll lose low-end with the long tubes but gain a few more hp on the top end over shorties so long tubes probably aren't the better choice for towing. I ...

GM vehicles tend to respond decently enough to intake + exhaust improvements combined together. Affordable, and a good starting point to adding on more later

I just put on Monroe reflex, and to be quite honest I am not sure I like them.I don't know if there is a period at the beginning where they need to "break in" or not but my old worn out ones seemed to have been a nicer ride. mine seem very stiff. hopefully more will chime in and give their opinion as well. good luck
