5'3" here, and I use my running boards everyday. Without them I had to kinda fall out.

Bought mine in July of 2002 also, only 21000 miles on it. Still love driving it and transforming it!!!

Bought my 05 LT new with 3 miles. Now sports 54,621 miles. It will be for sale in October/November--with a "0" deductable and transferable GM warranty good for many miles and months.

Not sure how accurate this (link below) would be as being up to current prices with depreciation and such around different parts of the states, but I think you got a descent deal and more "security" so to speak with the parts they replaced. On long trips, I can average 20mpg, and that's at 75-80mph, keeping the rpm just under 2000, and not a lot of start/stop traffic (aka outside of NJ). Normal city driving, I get about 15.
