Khuna , start life afresh...forget about the bitter past...see how my neighbour Adrian went thru the evil clutches of her ex-wife nad mum-in-law..they knew Women"s Charter works to the women's advantage at men's expense..no point hoping the Act will be change to address the injustice that works at husbands only in event of divorce. Well, with a GDP per capita of abt US$39k, Sporeans are one of the richest people in Asia. (Japanese - $43k, HKers - $35k). The truth of the matter is, Sporeans do not enjoy a high quality of living. Using a most basic parameter - food, Sporeans pay much more for food produce which is hardly fresh. After being back in Spore (for X'mas vacation) for abt a week, I noticed that Spore markets lack variety and freshness, unlike what's...

But if someone set fire to it, I think insurance cannot claim. I'm not into facts so much. But I have expereience that my overseas colleagues telling me they enjoy a better quality life back home. There's no quality life here. Who cares we are paying more over in Sweden. Like what trulysingapore says, I have a 300% increase in pay paying for a 25% tax and better quality in life. Why not? I'll pay the 25% tax. Just like Australia, with my current pay in my current job. I can easily double...

USâs House of Representatives has just passed a bill to stop the noisy TV ads. Associated Press reported, 'The House has voted to level off the abrupt spikes in volume heard by television viewers during commercial breaks.' It shows that people across the world including US are pissed off with the noisy advertisements. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34434875/ns/politics-capitol_hill/...

Much as little gecko empathize wid your plight, there's still a need to speak up on d other side of this issue :
1) Many a times, people akeep accusing da govt of being a nanny... in wanting to get too involved in our lives. Yet when things go wrong for us, ironically da first people we look upon is da govt.
2) Whether ya get employed or retrenched in da private sector has nothing ...

In addition to that singapore ads are:
People overacting
People behaving weird
the music is slapstick music
comments by women sound like someone talking to a child
commets by men are either silly or rough smoky whiskey treated voice.
the production costs are minimal and people notice it.
Its all in all loud and freaky, something that can be played only in Singapore but never...

As long as you are clear in conscience, I think u should move on with no regrets.
Whatever pain will go away in time, happiness will not last too. Just the natural logic of life. At least your seperation with your daughter is not life and death. As long as they are still alive, u will always have many chances to see your daughter again in the future.

Right or wrong, da moral responsibility of da individual lies mainly wid oneself and da family rather dan da state.
People clamor more freedom from censorship on da internet, people want S'pore to be as connected to da rest of da world as possible. All these have da effect of a double edged sword. You can't just embrace one aspect of being in a globalized world without acknoweldging that ...

US will be doing its economy a disservice if she were to increase its interest rates now, especially with all the efforts thrown in to rejunevate the economy.
Tell your mum to dump US$, it has potential to depreciate further and your mum will lose more on the principal sum.

I dont read much about what ministers say today. It's mostly lip service or nonsense.
These are the guys who drive to work yet think they're qualified to talk about public transport quality, and fares.
Sorry man. This is a no win situation. Just pay up.
Better do it quick before prices go up again.
