I also remember from CoS Molly Weasley "looking very much like a sabre-toothed tiger", which is a creative way of expressing the woman's emotional expression in CoS. But then again, Molly's never been very subtle with emotions.

I'm practical with a touch of flash--I'd probably buy an owl, and it'd probably be snowy (like Hedwig) or a horned owl (like the owls of Disney films).
