Emma Watson as Hermione Granger...

I apologize for saying this, but I really don't like her portrayal of Hermione. I don't have any problem with her appearance, but she makes the character seem rather weak her acting lacks a certain strength. Emma also made Hermione a bit...shy? Her acting reminds me too much of the fan-girl type, and she seems rather impassive in the parts where she should be in mood, but she overacts in the most random parts. I don't know, this...

Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter...

^Odd you say that. I picture Harry Potter from the books looking and sounding like Dan Radcliffe but not really acting like him. My personal Harry is a bit more animated. The first movie, Dan Radcliffe was pretty much my personal Harry but after that (mostly the 3rd movie) he wasnt. I do think hes a decent actor and i cant really imagine anyone else playing that part.

I agree with everyone else that says that the writers don't give Ginny enough screen time, and this makes it hard to tell if Bonnie can play Ginny well, although she does a good job when she is in the films Unfortunately, it's not as if we're going to get a lot more of her now we're onto the last films - she's not around for more than 3/4 of the book Quote: Originally Posted by Prendsmoncoeur I expected a more......

he is not Harry to me. first of all why didnt they give him green eyes.. it seems so important that everyone alway tells his he has his mothers eyes...and his hair is too light and it is always perfectly combed not messy like Harrys it meant to be. thye could at least get this right considering his acting isnt exactly great aka he cant cry or get angry without making everyone laugh.

Rupert Grint was excellent, funny and played Ron great. I'd say the award goes to him.

Yes, I also agree that Timothy Spall was a perfect Pettigrew. He had all the mannerisms down very well, and he really looked like someone who'd been a rat for 12 years.

Ian Hart was *PERFECT* as Quirrell. Not only did he have the look down, but he captured the stutter perfectly. "TROLL! IN THE DUNGEON! Thought you ought to know..." was classic.

So here's his IMDB page .
I'm not that familiar with his work, but I think he has the right look. He certainly looks a bit eccentric in his profile picture.
What do you think?

If memory serves me correctly, Warwick Davis voiced Griphook in Sorcerer's Stone, and will be portraying him physically (and with the voice) in Deathly Hallows. Based on what we have seen of Davis as Griphook, what do you think? Is he a fitting choice as a regular actor in the series?
