Get a bigger monitor, lol. But really, it is a big shot, aned the properties say it exceeds the forum limits, so why did the sofytware let me post it? Tell you what, I'll go remove it and replace it with a link. Fair enough? gueuze- too lazy to learn how to resize pics. and not new, but if I was a Brian type, I would have over 5,000 posts by now.

gueuze, you're not uploading pics to the forum, you're hotlinking them. Otherwise, the forum software wouldn't let you upload them. It stops me even if I try to upload a 50.1kb file. Resizing pics really isn't that difficult. Try Fast Image Resizer.

You can prevent people from right clicking on websites, but there are ways around it, plus there is software that helps you download this sort of thing off the web. The best thing is to put some sort of water mark on the pictures, that would be impossible to show the picture without revealing it.

I am pretty sure that I saw someone on this forum post these pictures. I have a couple questions for the installer of these pictures. I have done a few searches and checked some pages of craziest installs but haven't been able to locate these pics. So, if they belong to you or you know who they belong to let me know. Thanks all,

Hi all, New Years resolutions and all that, what do you think is the one single best thing you could do to improve your business as a tile pro in the new year? For me in 2008 it was adding a large tile cutter (cracker, snapper). This allowed me to do larger installs in less time with less fuss, not to mention the joy of not having to use the wet saw out in the garage one story down at ...

Question: How long should you let a tub/shower enclosure tiled using mastic (4 x 4 tiles) before: 1. Grouting it? 2. Using the shower? Please pro's just answer the question, please don't take pot shots at me or the method because you know I don't do it. I'm just trying to get some questions answered, then after about 5-10 people chime in I will tell you why. Some may already have an idea...

Over the past year or so i have become really interested in tile setting and am thinking about making it my career. With the help of this website and several tile books including TYW, i have done a couple projects including 2 showers for my parents. Im only 19 and im eager to learn the trade, from laying floor tile to mudding a shower. I have some knowledge and experience in tile such as ...

Jim McLaughlin,Nice web site. I like the idea of the wire shelves, I would really like to see a picture of that. There have been way to many break ins and trailers stolen around here. Thats what steers me away from a trailor, and I'd have buy a truck to pull it.

Tiled over concrete using Ditra. Layed Ditra and tile all in one day. Used Versabond under and over (I know it's modified, but JB thinks it's OK). Just finished up late tonight and am wondering if I should walk on it in 13 hours from now being that it is modified and all. What do you guys think????? Figaro

I prefer 1/4x3/8 square notched trowel, skim the backs of the tiles just so I know I get full coverage (pulling now and then to make sure), custom marbleset with 1/16 joints. If tiles are showing to be imperfect in dimension, increase joints to 1/8 ---This is assuming 12x12 tiles

Hey guys- Well, the good new is I'm bidding a good sized job. The bad news is I have to use some questionable underlayment practices. What I have is six 70 year old pier an beam houses that have 3" t and g plank hardwood floors. There's no underlayment-that's it. Overall, the floors feel pretty sturdy and the houses have been leveled. Here's the dilemma-the GC wants the tile ...

I was just stressing how I personally felt since I came on here. CX has never made me feel welcomed because I work for a competitor of Contractor's Direct. He has sent me private messages and constantly nit-picking. I have rubbed elbows with people in the Marines and in the civilian world that have been in positions of authority. I guess some need to stick their chest out. No harm no foul....
