Dee, I am using the
Source Naturals coral calcium and I'm wondering if I can sprinkle it on food or do I have to mix it with liquid? Also can I take it in the evening before bed? What do you think about Vitamin Code's "raw calcium" that they say is superior to coral calcium? Would this plant derived calcium from marine algae be preferable to coral calcium? Thank you.

The problem with
maltodextrin is that it may contain a high amount of MSG. It is not MSG itself, but can contain it as part of the additive. Maltodextrin is just a grain starch that is usually derived from gentically modified corn but can also come from rice. Often times, there is no way of knowing which type of maltodextrin is in the foods it is listed on, so I make it a general rule to just ...

Hi Ruth, So glad you are enjoying the podcasts. We don't know of a way to re-upload to iTunes our older podcasts, however ALL of them are available right here on our site. Click on "Resources" and then click on "podcasts". You should be able to listen to them right here from our site.
Thanks for listening, and thanks for your support. Dee

The question of whole food vitamins comes up alot. You can do a search on "vitamins" here on the message board to see some of the other questions and my answers. Currently I recommend three brands of whole food vitamins, which I believe are really the only high quality ones available. My highest recommendation is Vitamin Code raw food vitamins by
Garden of Life. They have formulas for men, ...

Hi Christine, Thanks for your question. I would be curious to know the sources of your research indicating that
stevia is not safe during pregnancy. In doing some of my own searches on the internet, I found various pregnancy blogs and related sites that warn against the use of stevia during pregnancy for one reason only--that it is not on the Food and Drug Administration's GRAS (Generally ...

Soy protein powders are not recommended on Plan-D, even non-GMO. I suggest a whey protein powder or an egg white protein powder. I recommend SOLGAR. It does not contain any soy ingredients and is not sweetened. If you are a vegetarian, then a brown
rice protein powder or a hemp protein powder will be better for you than soy.

Yucca flour is a
whole food and is an acceptable type of flour on Plan-D. It is quite uncommon, and you probably would never find any bread made solely from yucca flour unless you get it in a South American restaurant or market. It may be one of the ingredients in gluten-free breads. Yucca flour is a flour made from the tuberous root of a plant called Manihot esculenta , which is ...

I have not personally tried the Vitamin Code Vitamins, but I do personally know
Jordan Rubin and I highly recommend the supplements by Garden of Life. The two whole food vitamins that I recommend are Garden of Life and New Chapter. They are both excellent and of high incomparable quality to most other vitamins on the market.

Yes, tocopherols are synthetic vitamin E that is used in many food products to preserve freshness. It is usually added to prevent oils from going rancid. You will find it in MANY food products, and may be hard to avoid. If it is the only
additive, then it is better than if it is one of many additives.

Thank you for your post and I am glad that you are eager to start transitioning into a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, the food lists and checklist are not available for download, as that would essentially be allowing people to get
Plan-D without having read the book! It is my intention that followers of Plan-D know the philosophy behind it before embarking on the Plan, otherwise someone may ...
