No T-Mobile Service Yesterday
Published (2009-11-07 05:31:00)
We also lost service then here in New York City both my friend and I at the same time. No texts nor calls. My friend was expecting an important call too. He was furious. T-Mobile better get their act together. This service problem is not for short times but lasts for hours. I never did trust cellphones; I never had these problems with landlines.

I just unlocked Nokia E71 off the Rogers network and I still can't make calls using my T-Mobile sim card. I did the manual and automatic search to find network operators still no networks can be found. Also the 3G icon be blinking in the upper left hand corner where the signal bars should be. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated .

T-Mobile Tap Touch Phone
Published (2009-11-12 09:14:00)
This seems like a cool entry level-ish phone (more entry than mid IMO) at a decent price. It's funny, but in the link to phonescoop, folks were tearing this to shreds! Not every phone that comes out is going to contend with the likes of iPhone, Droid, TP2, etc...To me, this is a good phone to get your pre-teen/teenage kid who is responsible enough to have a phone.

If you continue service without signing another agreement, you will be on a month to month basis.
As long as the account remains active in some way...you can still port out.

They are doing this to ...

I don't think so. Revol is cdma, t-mobile is gsm. Different technologies entirely.
T-mobile and Cingular are GSM carriers, and use sim cards for gsm. Sprint and Verizon are cdma, do not use sim cards, although they could. nextel, is cdma, but it uses an IDEN card, which is similar to the gsm sim card, but larger.

Well, I was thinking about going prepaid, but this may make me stay with T-Mo, because I have been waiting for them to come out with a 3G Blackberry, and this is going to be their first one I have seen.
