Unfortunately, they don't come free. If they were always free, then we'd all go out of business. Try to save up for it. We sell them for $21.99, but you can try another company if you find it cheaper. Just make sure that they have a proven trackrecord before proceeding with any kind of payments

I have a VZ BlackBerry 9630 Tour . I purchased an unlock code because I will be traveling to belize on 11/12. The instructions ask me "to insert any sim card" first.. I do not have the sim card currently and will be purchasing it in Belize city when I arrive. My question is do I have to unlock the phone prior to getting to belize? Or can I unlock the phone when I arrive in Belize city after I purchase the SIm card. My...

There are too many differences!!!
We're actually writing a review and creating a video to show a comparison between the 2 devices.
Just a quick summary,
1.) Bold 1 = Trackball, Bold 2 = Trackpad -- much smoother with the pad
2.) 9700 is a lot smaller and lighter than the 9000
3.) 9700 battery life is better
4.) 9700 has 5.0 pre-installed on it. Text messaging looks like the ...

The primary reason to own a BlackBerry is immediate access to e-mail. RIM's 'push' technology brings e-mail straight to the phone as soon as it is received. Normal smartphones use a 'poll' method, which is basically calling up an e-mail server to see if there are new messages. If you receive a message in between check-in times, you have to wait for your phone to call in again.
Other ...

Don't post your IMEI in a public forum.
Check out e-bay or craigslist. You can find someone who will provide you with an unlock code for under $10.

You would have to purchase the unlock code from a third party unlocking site. Since there is a cost to even us suppliers, you would have to pay for the code.
Once the codes are generated, unlocking sites are charged a marginal fee by their suppliers.
Please note: The 8830 will not work on North American carriers since it is a dual band phone. Dual band phones will only work on the ...

downloading games to the 8100 might not even be worth it. The 8100 processor is so slow that a lot of the new games will run slow on it.
You can download some on Blackberry App world. If you don't have data, a simple google search should do it.

Thank you! Please do not post your IMEI . It can be stolen by others.
As for unlocking, codes can be purchased from as little as $15 depending on the carrier. We can offer this service.

It depends on which phone you're trying to unlock. Since it's in the RIM side, I'm guessing it's a Blackberry and since all the new Blackberrys have GSM or GSM & CDMA capabilities, it should be pretty straight forward.
All you have to do is purchase an unlock code and then follow the simple how-to instructions. More details would make it easier to find the appropriate unlock option....

The O2 Ireland unlock codes are much more expensive than your typical
unlock code. In fact, the unlock code might even cost more than the value
of the phone. Unless you're really attached to it, it may not be worth
unlocking.

Unlock codes, otherwise known as manufacturer codes, you'd have to purchase from a third party website. Getting it free would be difficult as us unlock code suppliers have a cost involved to have the code generated.
You can try us out if you'd like, or you can try to ask T-mobile again. They do have very strict policies and procedures before they will supply you with an unlock code though.

The 8830 is a dual band phone, so if you unlock it, you'll only be able to use it in Europe and Asia. Therefore, Alltel will not work.

Hi there,
You would have to purchase an unlock code for your phone. For the orange UK blackberry pearl, you can purchase the unlock code from our website if you'd like.
Just navigate through the unlock code menus and select the BlackBerry 8100 .
After the unlock code is generated, an e-mail will be sent to you with full instructions on how to unlock your phone. After that, all you ...
