Update: I found out what was wrong with my phone. The Sonim XP3.20 Quest I had was set for European cellphone frequencies. I have sent my phone back to Sonim and they claim to be sending me one set for American cellphone frequencies. Here is how to tell what frequencies your phone is set for- Take off the battery on the back of the phone. Inside in the phone there should be a small white sticker. There's a new clipboard action in an upcoming release by Rim that allows you to add a visible box around your text that you want to select. All you have to do is drag the handles on each side of the box to make your selection. Of course there's still no mention of release dates, but Lowell McAdam, CEO and president from Verizon Wireless spoke of the upcoming release of the BlackBerry Tour and he's still saying it's the six month time frame. I'm really excited about this phone. Due to the nature of my work (and my recreational activities), I need a tough phone. However, I do have a question. I have AT&T as my carrier. If I buy an XP3.20, can I just put my sims card in it and be able to use it?

So it looks like 4.7.0.203 is the platform and 4.7.0.148 is the version (which was already leaked on the internet). Apparently there's been some sound issues with the new iPhone 3G S. It seems like after the sound file is done playing, the iPhone gives off a high-frequency tone around 15KHz. The problem is more than likely stemming from a software issue due to the fact when you set your phone on vibrate, you do not get the high pitched sound.
