This shows us how tolerance is only for people who hold Christian beliefs. Christians have to be tolerant of people who believe differently but no one allows Christians to stand up for their beliefs without getting attacked. The people in Californnia have spoken...they voted and marriage is between a man and a woman. Live with it. I voted and have to live with Obama. This is what a democracy is....

I don't get it. Gas is like $1.97 in most places here in the Bay, and my grocery bill is going up every week? Huh? Didn't this industry get the memo that greed doesn't work? I'm tired of being taken advantage everywhere I turn, and I could understand when the gas prices were nearing $5...what's the excuse now?

I did not know where to post this and decided on here. Has anyone heard of the Neo-Bourbon movement? (Part of there English website is here ) As Catholics, obviously we want peace in the world. For this very reason of wanting peace, should we support secessionist movements like this, or oppose it? Your opinions? Peace.

This is an editorial from a couple days ago in the LA Times which I find fascinating. I am posting it in this forum b/c as for me I am most intrigued by the SECULAR implications of this for psychologists who are bound by their professional associations ethical code. How could a psychologist -- Catholic or non-Catholic -- be able to cooperate in the implementation of this edict without violating...

Interesting to see something like this in the news. Check the bold area. "Gunfree Zones" actually attract murders and do more harm than good. Follow the link and you can watch the video of the news report where there is additional information. My wife, being a teacher, tells me that she will not follow her school's rules of locking the door and waiting. She said if there is a problem at ...

I heard this today, on the BIll O'Reilly show...he played a blurb from the station that covered this story. Have any of you heard this, yet? This saddened me so much, to the point of tears. Trampling a cross? We need to really bathe this world, in deep prayer. http://johnmalloysdb.blogspot.com/20...-old-lady.h tml

Here we go again... Quote: You better watch out. There is a new combatant in the Christmas wars. Ads proclaiming, "Why believe in a god? Just be good for goodness' sake," will appear on Washington buses starting next week and running through December. The American Humanist Association unveiled the provocative $40,000 holiday ad campaign Tuesday....

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20081113/D94E24O80 .html Very interesting development. I wonder if it hit the main stream media.I know it hit Berlin's AP but I haven't heard it here even though it was an American who received adult stem cells from bone marrow which may have cured this man's Aids. BERLIN (AP) - An American man who suffered from AIDS appears to have been cured of ...
