Was up and out just after 6am this morning temp was 4°C and a nice mist was hanging over the town so headed out with the camera. On route to the cemetery a high spot in the town spotted these rays coming through the trees. Once at the top of the cemetery carpark overlooking Dalmellington to the West I took some shots of the blanket of mist over the town. I was quite eager to get on as ...

On my way back from Cornwall stopped at services at Gordano I think near Cribbs Causway (11.25am ). While I was dropping stuff into bin saw what seemed to be FC from base of large Cu. Rushed back to the car got my camera and caught the last 30 seconds or so before it gradually vanished. In all it lasted 4 or 5 mins. I was facing north towards the Bristol area. Managed to get images and video sorted out for this one. On August 13th I noticed a line of sharp showers on the radar to my west so I headed out to the country and found the highest vantage point I could find. I watched storm clouds gather over the Sperrin Mountains and within 15 min's I was hearing booms of thunder from the NW. That storm appeared over the mountain crest with a new one beside ...

After a brief thunderstorm in Glasgow around 5pm took these from the train on the way home, unfortunately couldn't get photos of some very dramatic skies about at the time, this was the best I could get.
