I don't accelerate too fast, I try to drive at an even speed the whole way. Also unless it's a really really hot day, I don't use airconditioning. Most of the time having your window down is ok except if you're on freeways or something. Then I use the recirculated air.

Buy a short nipple and stick it in the exhaust . Use exhaust putty to keep the noise down.

You will need to apply for a replacement plate using form MV-44 http://www.dmv.state.pa.us/pdotforms/mv_… You should be able to do this at a title office.
