Yesterday I caught an afternoon of curling. Canada was beaten by Sweden for their first loss. Interestingly, the airtight security to enter the games has completely disappeared. The security tents are still there, but now you just walk on through. Tomorrow Those Norway curler's checkered pants unfortunately look like PJs for the Paralympic version. It's like they skipped out of the spine ward. Check this:

I'm fairly new SCI person and have been looking at different transport options. I was thinking that maybe there could be a ' Sticky' post where people could post info about what they drive with pictures or links. So those of us that are new can see what options are out there.

what's the best device to adapt to a .22 for target shooting for a c7 quad who has arms/shoulders/wrists, but no fingers?
i thought perhaps a tripod, sandbags on a table high enuf to roll under plus a finger stiffener i saw advertised might be enuf, but not optimal or most comfortable
thought it would rebond dad and i, he's got a marlin he used in high school and rotc in the '50's....

I'm looking into doing a study abroad program in Florence, Italy, but I need a little help. My biggest obstacle is the flight over (and back). The deal is, I'm a C5-7 incomplete quad. I don't cath or do a BP. Instead I use adult diapers, down side to that is that I have to be changed every 4 hours. The flight's about 8 hours long so I'm wondering how to handle the bathroom situation. Any ...

I'm looking at purchasing a vehicle that I can drive from my chair. I'm a C6 quad. I want something that is 4wd since I live in a snowy mountainous area. I'm looking at getting and then converting a chevy AWD van. Anyone done this or looked into it. Any other options out there?
Thanks

Eh, Sakic's getting old. Now that the season's over, what do y'all think of
the 'new face' of hockey? It's definitely more exciting, but too many
penalties IMHO. Carolina's special teams won them the cup.

Anybody been to the Bahamas? Looking at cruises and it seems all of the "disabled/handicapped" rooms/cabins are INSIDE! What's up with that? Never been on a cruise but think I'd want to be able to see out! Also read here somewhere that transportation is a prob. there. Any info. about any of this would be appreciated. Thanks!

In a couple weeks I'm goin out of town!
However, this leads me to a question.
I'm going to be staying in a cabin.
Don't know what the bathroom is goin to be like exactly.
I'm gonna be there for about a week.
So, do i bring my shower chair which is not very portable.
In fact not even sure I could get it into the car.
or do you think I could just rough it for awhile, you know like ...

Hello fellow athletes!
I'm just wondering if anyone has a good suggestion for a heart rate monitor. I went to a sports store today and was overwhelmed with all the options. There's even one that can calculate how many calories you have burned and need to burn!! I never used a heart rate monitor when I was a racer because it was still a relatively new concept with the team, but now that I'm ...
