some subs dont like high bass notes like 100hz up. your jl box can hit a wider range sure as smaller driver/cone and its lighter cone so moves easier so wider range of freq.
if you crossover the box right at 24db crossover at 80hz for sub and 24hz at 80-100hz for mids it should sound sweet and bring your mids bass down to like 80hz could help your
sound stage
or try a sealed box

Also if someone can build it put it all together and take it back a part and label it I could put it back together. I would have to any way as it would be to wide.
I have one person that said they could do it on a
CNC and ship me the parts all labeled. So I am open to this ideas.

my old subs used to unload like a bish well over tuning frequency, they go
WAAOOOOWWAAAAOOOOOWWAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW and look like they are
hovering up and down lol...
