Any combination of primer + color coat will get you what you want. For the raw MDF edges, you're going to have to keep doing coat after coat of primer until it finally starts building. Sand lightly and then put a couple of color coats over it. Easiest way is to use a bit of bond and sand because that will remove even the lines from the seams as well and it will look all on solid, smooth piece. By far the easiest coating for a box though...

i think using a labrith port of that length is going to hurt ur overall port velosity 4 180 degree turns is going to have the air flow all jumbled up .... why not try wraping the port around the back side of the box?

You have four 12" subs and your looking for SQ over SPL? Seems like overkill on the low end for SQ.

some subs dont like high bass notes like 100hz up. your jl box can hit a wider range sure as smaller driver/cone and its lighter cone so moves easier so wider range of freq. if you crossover the box right at 24db crossover at 80hz for sub and 24hz at 80-100hz for mids it should sound sweet and bring your mids bass down to like 80hz could help your sound stage or try a sealed box

Also if someone can build it put it all together and take it back a part and label it I could put it back together. I would have to any way as it would be to wide. I have one person that said they could do it on a CNC and ship me the parts all labeled. So I am open to this ideas.
