I had one today. Wish I had my camera. Me and my kid went to Costco and she asked me if I had ever been behind the building. (I paved the entire parking lot, I work construction) I told her I had and she insisted on seeing what was back there. So as the guy I am, I took her back there. There was a guy in a brand new Dodge Challenger showing off for some people doing burnouts and ...

I've managed to "Geotag" my phots. I.E. the lat & long is embedded in the Exif data. Is there now a way to view those pics in Google Earth, Google maps, or some other online map, displaying them in the place they were taken? Yes I know about Panoramio within Google Earth, but I mean pics stored on my computer. Pete P.S. Google Earth would be my favourite, I like Google Earth!

Right now I have a roll of Ilford HP5 loaded (12 pics left) but feel like I should have Velvia loaded for this trip since I'd imagine cooperstown is going to be beautiful with fall color. 1) I figure out a way to get out the Ilford, load the velvia, then reload the ...

Hi all, I'm a British citizen born & raised overseas.Though I have never lived in the UK, I have visited often and I have made the decision to study in the UK, preferably London. I am now researching Colleges & Universities which could provide me with a degree which would be both challenging & provide me with the contacts I would need to break into the business in the UK. I haven't figured...

I can't believe nobody posted this site from Canon! http://web.canon.jp/Imaging/enjoydslr/ If you're a total SLR newbie, snap some shots with your new camera to get the feel for it, look 'em over, then head to that site for a good tutorial. Many of the examples are quasi interactive so you can see how different adjustments will affect your photos. Joe

That doesn't make sense, obviously everything is done in M. Why would having narrower DOF (bg more blurred) = darker? Also, there isn't a noticeable increase in brightness as you continue to stop down, the noticeable increase seems to only happen when you compare a shot wide open to any stopped down aperture, and not as you continue to stop down.
